Today’s travel inspiration comes from Switzerland, from @travelita:

"During my teenager years I listened to one specific song on repeat with the German title ‘I’m Schlitz’ (which means something like ‘in the groove’ and was written by a Swiss Hip Hop Band). This song is about the beauty of their home, the Canton of Glarus in Switzerland. This autumn I finally found some time for a hiking trip to this region as I’ve never been there before. The convenient hiking trail took us across small bridges and wooden footbridges, over rough and smooth, up to the idyllic Lake Klöntal. Surrounded by rocks, this natural lake is magical in autumn. We were the only people up there and the best part – this place not only looked stunning in autumn shape but also had a unique soundtrack thanks to that band!" (at www.passionpassport.com)

Today’s travel inspiration comes from Lisbon, Portugal, from sejkko on Instagram:

“I grew up in Venezuela, but my parents are Portuguese. I always felt as if I had been kidnapped, taken from my land. Life with its mysterious ways opened the path for me to return. Maybe because of this I don’t take anything for granted here. Every view, every tile, every traditional thing on display I value deeply.” (at www.passionpassport.com)

Today’s travel inspiration comes from Berlin, Germany from @duncanwolfe on Instagram:

"Berlin is 52 degrees North, which in North America would be like the northern border of Quebec and Newfoundland. Translation: there ain’t much sunlight here in the winter. But when the sun sets, it sometimes gets to peek out beneath the ever-present grey skies and drop some color on the town, if only for 15 minutes. Today it was nice. You can see the dome of the Reichstag in the background where the parliament makes laws and stuff, I think." (at www.passionpassport.com)

Today’s travel inspiration comes from Thailand, from @jennaberrybean on Instagram:

"Sanam Chand Palace was built in 1907 as one of the late King Rama VI of Thailand’s vacation homes (the present king is Rama IX). The palace is located in Nakorn Patom, 1-2 hours away from Bangkok. I love to visit places with history — with a little bit of imagination, it’s almost like I could go back in time!" (at www.passionpassport.com)

Today’s travel inspiration comes from Kerala, India, from @geerhee on Instagram:

"We spent a day and night on a houseboat travelling along the backwaters of Kerala. It was such a peaceful and tranquil setting, a contrast to the busier places we had passed through. This was taken early in the morning after we had moored up somewhere for the night - I’d peeked out the window and seeing the beautiful colours I knew I had to get outside on deck to fully take in the view. It was a lovely moment that I got to enjoy to myself before the boat and the world around me started to wake. And it’s always great to greet a new day while floating on water." Today’s travel inspiration comes from Yosemite, from @teamsnake on Instagram:

"We’ve been to Yosemite a few times but never during autumn. I think we pretty much missed the peak of fall foliage, but it’s still very pretty all around. It hasn’t really rained in a while, and here on sentinel bridge, over merced river, the water was very still and calm — like glass. As the iconic half dome reflected perfectly onto this nature’s mirror, it made me wonder: if two halves make a whole, this may not be a photo of half dome at all, but rather, ‘whole dome’!" Today’s travel inspiration comes from Naples, Italy, from @hemunandu on Instagram:

"On our summer vacation trip to Europe, my wife and I covered 3 countries over 3 weeks, and Naples was a last minute addition to our itinerary. I had no clue what to expect from the place, but got swayed by how many people online went on about the scary but fun Amalfi coast drive. After a vacation filled with amazing sights and memories, we did the Amalfi drive on the penultimate day of our trip…I can safely say the entire day was hands-down the best memory of the whole trip…as evening fell and we were returning to Naples with a sad feeling, one curve in the road opened up this amazing sight before our eyes. We had to stop and take it in and appreciate everything special about our best summer vacation yet." (at www.passionpassport.com)

Today’s travel inspiration comes from Russia, from @chiragushka on Instagram:

"This shot was taken at VDNH in Moscow. Where there’s a pavilion called Kosmos (space) which is dedicated to Yuri Gagarin who as we all know is the first spaceman! There they have this roof which I’m fascinated with. Being my first winter here I understood from my experience that you are more than lucky to get any light at all, but this year it’s been surprisingly sunny at this time of the year, so without wasting any time I decided to take this opportunity and catch all the light I could!"
